Holcim’s International Management Program - HIMP - reflects Holcim’s determination to maintain market and cost leadership, to foster sustainable development and performance, to recruit and promote outstanding employees as well as skilled managers to secure its future management needs.
Goals of HIMP
  • International exposure to gain multicultural experience - a broader frame of reference ensuring competitiveness in a rapidly changing world.

  • Increased competitiveness as an employer of outstanding people - the program adds value to each individual’s career in terms of their employability and personal development.
    • HIMP profile
    HIMP concerns primarly University graduates with engineering, science, or business administration backgrounds who are at the beginning of their career with Holcim. Not only should they demonstrate initiative; they must be outgoing, committed, and open-minded, and must show a particular eagerness to learn. In addition, they are required to be internationally mobile, with proficiency in English and a second (foreign) language.
    Holcim‘s International Management program – HIMP for short – is a structured way to develop outstanding employees and to promote skilled managers. HIMP identifies and challenges the most promising talents at an early stage and continues to foster their development throughout their careers.

    The program is a fast-track development tool for high performing employees with potential for Senior and Top Management positions.
