Holcim has once again been included in the FTSE4Good Index series. FTSE4Good is a tool for socially responsible investors (SRI) to identify and invest in companies that meet globally recognized corporate responsibility standards. Core indicators across environmental, social, stakeholder relations and human rights criteria are used to assess companies for inclusion in the index.
According to the FTSE4Good classification process, Holcim's operations are high impact, leading to more stringent criteria in the areas of policy, management systems and the reporting of performance. Nevertheless, Holcim demonstrated our fulfillment of index requirements across all criteria.
