Holcim has recently been included in the selection by the Ethisphere Institute of the “World’s Most Ethical Companies”. Inclusion in the list recognizes organizations that promote ethical business standards and practices by going beyond legal minimums, introducing innovative ideas benefiting society and influencing their peers to follow suit. The list has been published for the last three years, and 2009 was the first time Holcim participated in the ranking process which consists of information provided by the company in the form of a questionnaire, complemented and validated by independent research.
