Holcim Indonesia is one of the largest and the most fully integrated cement producers incorporating its own aggregates quarries, ready-mixed concrete production and a road transport fleet. Operating from two sites in Java, home to 60% of the 220 million population, the company employs over 3,200 people and has a combined annual capacity of 7.9 million tonnes.
The company was founded in 1971 as the first privately owned cement producer, and became the first company to be listed on the Jakarta Stock Exchange in 1977. In 2001, Holcim became majority shareholder, controlling 77.33% of the paid up capital. |
