Within our programme to strengthen organizational capability many more people passed through various training programmes in Indonesia, the South East Asia region, Switzerland and other Holcim locations around the world. In Indonesia, we continue to run the Holcim manufacturing-based programmes to ensure our manufacturing practices are up to world standard. Several of our managers attended the International Management School in Switzerland and the University at St. Gallen.
At Cilacap we also embarked upon our Enterprise-based Vocational Education programme to bring appropriately trained new entrants to the industry and balance our overall focus between attainment of management skills and development of leadership.
