The Holcim Forum for Sustainable Construction is an initiative of the Holcim Foundation that brings together specialists at two-day workshops to discuss and promote construction-related solutions to the pressing challenges of sustainable development. These international experts include architects, planners, developers, scientists, and representatives from business, politics, administration, and civil society.
The Holcim Forum is held every three years. The first Holcim Forum under the theme of “Basic Needs” was held at the ETH Zurich in September 2004.
The next Holcim Forum held in Shanghai, China, April 19-21 2007, under the theme of “Urban_Trans_Formation”. Participation will be both "open" and "by invitation" - more details will be announced soon.
