The password-protected site also carries the latest weather conditions, concrete indicators and access to accounts information. Holcimonline has the added benefit of allowing multiple usage within an organisation.
Smart-Stock.netTM - This vendor-managed inventory system streamlines the procurement process between concrete plants and suppliers of constituents to concrete plants. Smart-Stock.netTM allows suppliers to manage and control inventory of their product at the plants, thus removing the need for the plants to place orders manually. The effectiveness of Smart-Stock.netTM as a business-to-business system was recognised in the company's selection as a finalist in the 2002 Computerworld Awards.
