Holcim (US) Type IA Portland Cement is manufactured to stand the test of time -- even in the toughest environmental conditions. Holcim Type IA Portland Cement contains small quantities of air-entraining agent, which creates minute, well-distributed, and uniform air bubble systems. The result is concrete with improved resistance to freezing and thawing, as well as scaling caused by deicing chemicals. The performance characteristics of Holcim Type IA Portland Cement correspond to an air-entrained concrete. Thus, it will perform extremely well in a vast range of construction applications. Holcim Type IA meets all requirements outlined in ASTM C 150 Standard Specifications for Portland Cement. This product can be shipped by bulk, rail or truck, and measured in metric tons or packaged in our new standard 42 kg (92.6-pound bags).
