Holcim (US) Rainbow Mortamix® Custom Color Cement-Lime provides added design flexibility for masonry applications where cement-lime is needed. And, like all Holcim products, it offers architects, contractors, masons, and other construction industry professionals proven strength, workability, and consistency. Holcim offers 40 standard colors of Rainbow Mortamix® Cement-Lime in Type N, S, or Type M. In addition, Holcim's Rainbow Products laboratory can custom formulate any pigment to match any job requirement a customer specifies. Holcim Rainbow Mortamix® Custom Color Cement-Lime meets the performance and proportion specifications outlined in ASTM C 270, Standard Specification for Mortar for Unit Masonry.
A key advantage offered by Holcim Rainbow Mortamix® Custom Color Cement-Lime is convenience. There is no need to blend portland cement and lime on the job site, so consistency among batches is maximized. To mix, place 2-1/4 to 3 cubic feet of sand (conforming to ASTM C 144) for each bag of Custom Color Cement-Lime in the mixer. Add enough potable water to produce the desired consistency. Mixing instructions are provided on each bag.
