Class C Fly Ash
Class C Fly Ash Holcim (US) Class C Fly Ash, part of the Envirocore family of environmentally-friendly products, will enhance the performance characteristics of portland cement concrete for a variety of construction applications. Used as a mineral admixture, fly ash improves the workability of plastic concrete mixtures, and enhances the density and durability of finished concrete.

Fly ash is a pozzolan, consisting of silica, alumia, iron, and calcium. Holcim Class C Fly Ash is a by-product of the combustion of pulverized sub-bituminous coal in power generating plants, having cementitious as well as pozzolanic properties, containing 10 to 30 percent lime.

Holcim Class C Fly Ash is tested to meet or exceed the standards outlined in ASTM C 618. It is available in bulk quantities and can be shipped by rail or bulk truck.
