LAFARGE SELLS ITS CEMENT PLANT IN UKRAINE FOR €96M

Lafarge announces the sale of its cement activities in Ukraine for an enterprise value of €96 million to CRH plc. This business comprises one wet process cement plant located in the Lviv region, in the western part of the country.

This transaction, which is expected to close before year-end, is subject to relevant Ukrainian authorities' approval.

The Group remains present in Ukraine through three aggregates quarries serving the Ukrainian as well as the Russian and Polish markets.
