Sustainable Offering

Holcim is scaling our sustainable offering - from ECOPact low-carbon1 and ECOPlanet low-carbon cement2 to ECOCycle proprietary circular technology3 - across all of our markets as demand continues to grow strongly.

1 Delivers at least 30% lower CO₂ emissions/m3 vs standard CEM I (OPC) concrete in the same strength class
2 ECOPlanet achieves at least 30% lower GWP (A1-A3 scope) compared with Ordinary Portland Cement (CEM I/Type I), calculated using a methodology aligned with EPD requirements.
3 Guarantees a minimum of 10% and up to 100% recycled construction demolition materials by total product weight.

How is Holcim scaling our sustainable offering?

With our NextGen 2030 strategy, Holcim is aiming to reach more than 50% of net sales in ready-mix concrete from ECOPact low-carbon, and 50% of net sales in cement from ECOPlanet low-carbon cement by 2030.

Our sustainable offering is tailored to the demands of our customers, and powered by our premium brands.
