AI-powered models predict machine failures up to 90 days in advance as well as maintenance needs – minimizing downtime, maximizing efficiency and extending the lifespan of assets.

How is Holcim transforming logistics with AI?

In logistics, Holcim is using AI to make our supply chains more resilient, efficient, and customer-centric, as Elodie Robin, Holcim Head of Group Logistics, explains. One of our flagship 10 AI-based initiatives in this area is Holcim Foresight.

To ensure that AI is used lawfully, responsibly and effectively, Holcim's approach to responsible AI includes an AI Directive, AI Solutions Inventory and AI Governance Council – mechanisms that mitigate risk and promote ethical implementation.

As we explain on p.51 of our 2025 Integrated Annual Report, this holistic approach – reinforced by training for employees – underscores Holcim’s vision of a future where digital and AI are deeply embedded in every aspect of our business – and create value for people, customers and shareholders.
