On Coronavirus (COVID-19)
At LafargeHolcim we put health and safety first. We act responsibly and with solidarity across the globe to protect our employees, contractors, customers, communities, suppliers and other stakeholders.
In early January we activated and mobilized dedicated Business Resilience Teams (BRT) at group and country levels to ensure we were prepared to respond to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) challenge.
Since then, we have implemented a range of global and local measures to protect our teams and contribute to containment of the disease.
These measures include virtual meetings, restricting travel, promoting hygienic behavior and working from home where possible. Measures and processes are in place for those working in operations to adhere strictly to the rules of hygiene and social distancing.
We are constantly monitoring and adapting our approach for each country, while at the same time carefully following the development of the coronavirus and the recommendations of the World Health Organization as well as of local health authorities to ensure we take all necessary steps to respond to this pandemic.
