Holcim joins OECD integrity initiative

  • Galvanise the Private Sector (GPS) is a key global initiative for businesses and industries to advance business integrity

Holcim has become a member of a key integrity initiative convened by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) to mobilize collective action in the private sector. The global program to Galvanise the Private Sector as Partners in Combatting Corruption (GPS) is designed to advance best-in-class business integrity across industries. It seeks to do so by establishing shared principles and standards, while fostering trust by promoting a rules-based international business climate.

Christoph Harler, Chief Compliance Officer, Holcim:
“We are pleased to be joining OECD’s Galvanise the Private Sector initiative, which harnesses the collective power of businesses and wider industries in line with Holcim’s commitment to operating at the highest levels of governance and integrity. I look forward to working with my counterparts to advance this important initiative.”

With the support of the US Department of State, the GPS initiative builds on the OECD’s multidisciplinary approach towards promoting anti-corruption, trust and integrity, operationalizes international standards and takes forward a core commitment from the United States’ Strategy on Countering Corruption.
