Lakeside

Lakeside is a modern, premium office development located in Warsaw’s Mokotów district, offering around 24 000 m2 of high-quality office and service space. The project incorporates Holcim’s ECOPact low-carbon concrete, which significantly reduces the building’s carbon footprint while maintaining high performance and durability.

Norblin Factory

Norblin Factory in Warsaw blends historic architecture with modern facilities for leisure, recreation, hospitality, shopping, and more. Holcim sustainable building solutions played a key role in this revitalization project, with Hydromedia permeable concrete ensuring effective water drainage from the usable surfaces.

Varso Place

Varso Place is an inner-city high-rise and skyscraper development in the heart of Warsaw that has 4 000  m2 of green spaces. Varso Place consists of Varso I, Varso II and Varso Tower. Using Zinco green roofing systems, a green world was created inside, outside and on rooftops – including a skyscraper garden at a height of 205 m.

Ronald McDonald House

Holcim supplied the construction materials needed to begin construction of the third Ronald McDonald House in Poland at the Children's Memorial Health Institute in Warsaw. This provides families of hospitalized children with a safe and comfortable place to stay near their loved ones. The foundation slab was constructed using Agilia FIBRO self-compacting concrete.

M7

Towarowa 22 in Warsaw is one of the city’s most ambitious urban projects. At its heart, the elegant M7 apartment building uses Silka calcium silicate blocks for its partition and exterior walls. These offer excellent acoustic insulation performance, and, thanks to their precise dimensions and smooth surfaces, provide a high level of finish at the structural stage.

Hala Koszyki

The revitalization of Warsaw's historic Hala Koszyki transformed the Art Nouveau structure into a modern culinary hub featuring restaurants and bars. Due to strict preservation requirements, internal insulation was necessary, with Multipor mineral boards chosen for their excellent thermal properties and adaptability to complex wall shapes.

Olszynki Park

Olszynki Park in Rzeszów is an urban regeneration project that answers Poland’s demand for energy-efficient renovation, with over 90% of buildings in the country requiring upgrades to meet modern standards. Holcim’s Airium was used as a versatile mineral insulating foam to increase energy efficiency and minimize heat loss, while it is easy to recycle.

Nowy Rynek

Poznań’s Nowy Rynek is set to become Poland’s first commercial office building to achieve net-zero operational CO2 emissions and be independent of the district heating network. We are supplying 19 000 m3 of ready-mix concrete to the project, including ECOPact produced with recycled aggregates using our ECOCycle circular technology.

Solna 6

Solna 6, an award-winning residential project in Poznań, was subject to strict heritage conservation rules requiring traditional plaster finishes. Ytong EnergoUltra+ blocks were used as thermal insulation on concrete walls – improving energy performance, increasing thermal mass and removing the need for air conditioning.

Katowice Municipal Arena

This iconic sports complex features a 15 000-seat arena and multi-purpose hall. Since fire safety was a key requirement for this public facility, the developers selected Ytong Acura for the build. This premium, cellular concrete solution is engineered for precision and speed. It offers rapid, high-precision assembly with non-flammable safety as well as superior thermal insulation.

Millennium Estate

These four residential buildings in Katowice use large-format Silka Tempo 18 cm blocks, known for their acoustic insulation, slender form and efficient construction. Our digital service offering blue.sprint linked 3D building models using AI and Building Information Modeling (BIM) to digitally managed production, ensuring smart-building and just-in-time onsite delivery.

Academy of Music

This renowned European cultural hub in Bydgoszcz has revitalized a post-industrial site. It includes academic and performance spaces on a single campus, with four state-of-the-art concert halls and nearly 700 rooms. Holcim supplied ECOPact low-carbon concrete for the build, as well as Artevia decorative concrete for key structural and design elements.

Windfarm

Sabowind, a full-service supplier and operator of wind energy, used 4 200 m3 of ECOPact low-carbon concrete to build 13 wind turbine foundations for a new wind farm in Markowice to accelerate the transition to clean, renewable energy. The wind farm supplies clean energy to around 75 000 households in north-central Poland – or 300 GWh of electricity per year.

Our Lady of Sorrows

Our Lady of Sorrows in Konotopie is one of the tallest monuments of its kind in the world. At a height of 55.6 m, the structure surpasses the famous Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro, becoming a new landmark of faith and artistry in Europe. Approximately 2 500 m3 of Artevia Color decorative concrete was used to construct the monument, combining structural durability with a high-quality, visually striking finish.

Zduńska Wola City Park

To renovate the large open-air swimming area in Zduńska Wola City Park, the authorities chose an advanced solution from Elevate. Around 14 000 m2 of PondGard EPDM membrane was used to ensure durable waterproofing. Two ponds were created, with plants and gravel to naturally treat water in the smaller one, increasing people’s quality of life and urban biodiversity.

Marki Educational and Recreational Center

This center uses around 11 000 m2 of white UltraPly TPO membrane. The 1.5 mm thermoplastic system supports traditional gravel, extensive green roofs, and a natural filtration decorative pond. By facilitating rainwater collection and solar panel integration, this helped the center become Poland’s first public facility to achieve BREEAM certification.

Deepspot diving pool

Mszczonów is home to the world's deepest diving pool, which requires advanced waterproofing to manage its internal humidity. Holcim provided a durable, dual-membrane solution: 1 400 m2 of gray Elevate UltraPly TPO was mechanically attached over a V-Gard vapor control layer on the main pool roof. 800 m2 of RubberGard EPDM was ballasted over the office and locker areas.

Bridgestone factory

The Bridgestone tire factory in Stargard features a 130 000 m2 dual roofing system. 70 000 m2 of RubberGard EPDM (1.1 mm) was used for the initial phase, followed by 60 000 m2 of UltraPly TPO (1.5 mm) for the expansion. Both membranes were mechanically fastened over a steel deck with mineral wool insulation, providing a durable, high-performance solution.

Agilia is a self-compacting concrete (SCC) that provides an excellent surface finish by flowing freely around congested reinforcement areas without the need for vibration or other energy inputs. It unlocks significant cost savings: allowing for quicker concrete placement in difficult situations and complex form work using significantly less labor.

Airium is an innovative mineral insulating foam range that improves energy efficiency in floors, roofs and walls for lightweight filling and levelling. It is easy to recycle, with no separation phase from other mineral layers at the end of the building’s life, while minimizing transport as air bubbles are captured on site.

Artevia decorative concrete is suitable for indoor and outdoor applications, and combines freedom of design with low maintenance and durability. Available in an array of vibrant colors, patterns and textures, Artevia is a stunning design material that offers all the traditional advantages of concrete, such as durability and resistance to wear and tear.

ECOPact is the world’s broadest range of low-carbon concrete, which can reduce the embodied carbon of buildings, infrastructure and homes by at least 30% without offsets compared to ordinary CEM I/OPC cement. RubberGard EPDM is a synthetic and reusable/recyclable rubber single-ply waterproofing membrane for flat and low- slope roofs that offers outstanding resilience and adaptability.

UltraPly TPO is a flexible, heat-reflective thermoplastic membrane specifically engineered for flat and low-slope roofs and is also ideal for extensive green roof systems as well as for PV installation. For customers who previously relied on CEM I, we offer a powerful alternative: CEM II/A-S 52.5 R Turbo, now available from both of our cement plants, Małogoszcz and Kujawy. Developed through close collaboration between our production, R&D, technical support and sales teams, this innovative solution delivers top performance for the most demanding applications.

Małogoszcz plant

Following its recent modernization, Holcim’s Małogoszcz cement plant is now one of Europe’s most advanced. Three clinker production lines have been replaced by a single, modern line equipped with a five-stage heat exchanger, precalciner, modern automated raw material unloading terminals, and a new fully autonomous, unmanned alternative fuels hall. 

The modern rotary kiln, with a capacity of 3 700 tons per day, allows us to replace up to 98% of heat derived from fossil fuels with alternative fuels, including biomass. In 2026, our Małogoszcz plant achieved a groundbreaking 100% thermal substitution rate (TSR) during testing. A waste heat recovery (WHR) system also generates electricity for the plant’s needs.

GO4ECOPLANET CCS project

The EU-funded GO4ECOPLANET CCS project will be the first CCS plant in Poland. The project aims to capture around 1.2 million tons of CO2 annually, making Kujawy the first net-zero cement plant in Eastern Europe.

Kujawy R&D research

Our new state-of-the-art R&D center at the Kujawy plant will be a key regional innovation hub. Supported by EU funding, the facility will focus on developing low-emission materials, circular technologies, and climate-neutral solutions to transform the construction industry.

Mineral Wool in Wykroty

The planned capacity expansion of the Wykroty plant will enable a more diversified product portfolio and bring new export opportunities, strengthening Holcim’s position in the fast-growing thermal insulation market.

Kujawy reservoir

We partnered with the State Forests for this award-winning project that uses rainwater collected from our Kujawy Quarry to irrigate forests and improve water retention, advancing Holcim’s vision of a nature-positive future. Find out more here.

Geocycle

In Poland, Geocycle is redefining waste management, processing approximately one million tons of diverse waste annually. Our footprint includes two modern alternative fuel processing plants in Bielawy and Skarżysko-Kamienna, dedicated recycling centers for CDM in Krakow and Poznań, and our alternative raw materials platform in Bielawy.
