As the world’s most used building material, concrete makes up a large part of construction demolition materials (CDM) around the world. So how do we make concrete infinitely recycled? 

That is what Chiara Morandini and her colleagues from Carlo Ratti Associati discovered during their visit to the Holcim Innovation Hub in Lyon. 

Holcim is leveraging urban mining by recovering CDM and reintroducing them back into building solutions – scaling circular construction.
