DRAGAN MAKSIMOVIC
Group Head of Building Systems
Dragan Maksimovic was appointed Region Head West Europe & Building Solutions Europe in April 2024, and became a member of the Executive Committee in July 2025. In March 2026, he was appointed Group Head of Building Systems.
Background
Dragan is responsible for Holcim’s Building Systems portfolio, including Holcim Building Envelope, PRB, Cantillana, Compaktuna and Alkern, as the Group expands its high-value sustainable offering.
Joining Holcim in 2021 as CEO of Holcim UK, Dragan held this position until April 2024. Most recently, he served as Region Head West Europe & Building Solutions Europe.
Prior to joining Holcim, he held senior P&L roles of increasing scope and responsibility in the construction industry in Serbia and the UK.
A Serbian national born in 1967, Dragan holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Belgrade and an MBA from the University of Sheffield in the UK. He has also completed an International Leadership Program at IMD in Switzerland.
