Group Head of Strategy and M&A

Virginie was appointed Group Head of Strategy and M&A in June 2025, and became part of the Executive Committee in January 2026.

Background
 

In her current role, Virginie leads the Group's Strategy and M&A function, playing a key role in driving Holcim’s profitable growth and in executing strategy NextGen Growth 2030.

Joining Holcim in 2003, Virginie held various financial leadership positions across France, China, Russia, Algeria and Switzerland. In May 2021, she was appointed Head of Finance for Region Europe. In this role, she contributed to the region's strong financial performance, helped spearhead over 40 value-accretive acquisitions and played a key role in accelerating Holcim's decarbonization roadmap, particularly in Europe.

A French national, born in 1974, Virginie holds a Master's degree in Finance from MBS School of Business in Montpellier, France.
