Statement from LafargeHolcim regarding its operations in Syria (II)

 

The media has recently reported events purported to have taken place at the Lafarge manufacturing site in Jalabiyeh in 2014.

Consistent with its internal governance and Code of Conduct, LafargeHolcim confirms that it immediately put in place a process to review the reported allegations under the auspices of the Finance & Audit Committee.

The Group reconfirms that the site in Jalabiyeh was evacuated in September 2014 and the Group has not attempted to operate on the site since that time.
