Preserving world heritage with PRB landscape mortar

The Grotte Chauvet cave in France is an archeological treasure. To preserve it and promote its invaluable heritage, French authorities decided to build a replica of the cave using more than 1,000 tons of Holcim’s PRB landscape mortar. This specialty building material is designed specifically for decorative structural elements and the restoration and repair of natural rock landscapes.
