With Lafarge 360, LafargeHolcim France is making sustainable building simpler and more transparent for customers, builders and designers. The Lafarge 360 initiative encompasses a range of solutions for sustainable construction. As part of it, 360 Design is an online simulator to calculate the carbon footprint of a building and help design a more sustainable project.

Designing buildings that work for people and the planet

360 Design is a digital platform that helps our customers design and build sustainably. It assesses the potential carbon footprint of a project and suggests sustainable materials that minimize CO2 emissions and maximize the circularity of the project. The eco-simulator enables customers to modify their project in the conception phase to lower the carbon footprint of their building projects. Based on the assessed environmental impact, the digital platforms suggest the best solutions to both lower carbon footprint and meet project requirements. From aggneo recycled aggregates to Hydromedia permeable concrete to low-carbon cements, our R&D teams help bring sustainable materials to build for people and the planet.

How the digital simulator 360 Design works

360 Design is a digital simulator to design low-carbon structural works of a building. Entering different building options, such as number of stories or foundation types, the simulator automatically calculates the carbon footprint of concrete structural works based on data from other projects in France. The database is regularly fed in order to increase precision and match customer needs.

The 360 Design simulator is available in France.
