OUR ESG Ratings, Presentations and Disclosures

At Holcim we engage with ESG ratings agencies to validate our sustainability performance externally. Unlike financial or credit ratings, ESG ratings cover the full gambit of our company’s non-financial performance - from carbon emissions through to human rights management. Each rating applies different weightings to various dimensions and their specific topics. Therefore, Holcim collaborates with multiple rating agencies to present a comprehensive picture.

Ratings

Image	In 2024, Holcim received an ESG Risk Rating of 25.2 and was assessed by Sustainalytics to be at medium risk of experiencing material financial impacts from ESG factors. Read more: Sustainalytics ESG risk rating summary
Image	In their 2024 assessment, Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) gave Holcim an ‘A’ score in climate change, their highest rating, and an 'A-' in water security, which is in the Leadership band. Holcim was also recognized as a Supplier Engagement Leader in 2023 with an A score, raising the level of climate ambition across our value chain. Read more: CDP Response 2024
Image	Holcim received a C+ rating in the ISS ESG Corporate Rating, which awards us "Prime" status. Our performance score places Holcim within the top 10% of companies within our industry.
Image	Holcim received a Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI) “AA” rating based on exposure and management of industry-specific ESG risks.
Image	After an independent assessment, Holcim was found to satisfy the requirements of the FTSE4Good Index Series created by FTSE Russell.
Image	In 2023, the Corporate Human Rights Benchmark ranked Holcim highest in the building materials sector.
