Background

Mathias Gaertner joined Holcim from Honeywell, where he most recently served as General Counsel of Honeywell Building Technologies, playing an instrumental role in the growth of the business. He is a proven senior legal leader in technology-driven building solutions with a solid track record in international mergers & acquisitions and compliance. 

Mathias studied at the University of Muenster, where he obtained his PhD, and is admitted to the German bar. Mathias is a German national and was born in 1973.
